BOARD OF DIRECTORS MEETING
May 2, 2016
After meeting with counsel for the Association, the Board members present, Bob Cory, Dave Luenzmann, and Bob Mathis discussed adopting a resolution that would establish a fining process (attached).
A motion was made and passed unanimously to adopt this resolution and another motion was made and passed unanimously to delegate the fining authority to Bob Cory.
The meeting was called to order at 1:50pm with a quorum of the Board present as noted above. Lea Stokes, Karen Hopkins and Mary McGowan of Preferred Management were also present. There was one owner present. The minutes of the April 4, 2016 Board meeting were approved.
PAINTING OF BUILDINGS
The Board was given the bids to review from the painting contractors that were being considered for the job.
A motion was made and passed unanimously to use All Aspect Renovations provided that the cost for the necessary roof work when combined with the cost for painting does not exceed the bid from JB Painting. These are the same painters that were used the last 2 times that the buildings were painted and the Board noted that they did a good job. Details of the contractual agreement have not yet been agreed to but will be forthcoming. The Board is looking at a September/October timeframe for this project.
OLD BUSINESS – Nothing to Report
The guest in attendance asked if there were any plans to add more amenities at La Grande Provence. It was stated that there are no such plans. After some discussion, the Board said they would take it under advisement for the future.
