BOARD OF DIRECTORS MEETING
APRIL 6, 2015
Bob Cory called the meeting to order at 9:30am.
In attendance were Barbara Cooledge, Dave Luenzmann, Dave Yoder, and Jeanne Kiley representing a quorum; as well as Karen Hopkins and Lea Stokes from Preferred Management Services. There was one guest.
The March 23, 2015 Board Minutes were approved.
Although the contractor did a very nice job on resurfacing the pool, there are several issues still unresolved concerning this project; namely proper cleanup of the tiles, pool fence and pool deck. Karen has advised the contractor, White Sands, that the remaining balance owed them will be held until this cleanup has been completed to our satisfaction. A formal letter from our attorney to this Company will be sent reconfirming our position.
The Board has asked Karen to send a letter to one of our owners reminding this owner that no pets are allowed on the pool deck.
In addition, over the past several weeks, there has been a noticeable lapse in the proper care of our common areas; for example, some instances where pool furniture has been rearranged to accommodate sun bathers without any effort to restore the furniture to its original place; glass beverage bottles used and left on the pool deck; articles of clothing/towels left over some of the unit railings; spills not cleaned up in lobby areas. The Board has asked Karen to re-notify our owners of our existing condominium rules regarding the care of our property and ask that they share this information with their guests.
BUILDING I BALCONY CEILING:
The balcony ceiling of unit 1607 has collapsed and will require a complete replacement. A motion was passed to hire Tim Rippey to do the necessary work, since he has handled similar projects for us in the past.
The meeting adjourned at 11:30am and the Board went into Executive Session.
