BOARD OF DIRECTORS MEETING
MARCH 23, 2015
Bob Cory called the meeting to order at 9:30am.
Barbara Cooledge, Dave Luenzmann and Dave Yoder were present representing a quorum.
The minutes of the March 2, 2015 Annual meeting & Board meeting were approved.
The Board reviewed the Reserve Study that was commissioned for the 2016 budget. The study is a useful guide during budget workshops to help in determining the value of available/planned monetary reserves as compared to the useful life of components of our property, thus helping the Board to plan and have the required reserves. Our present reserves are on course with the study’s suggested outlook.
Landscaping – we continue to replace old diminished plants and bushes and replace them with newer more attractive plants. New sod will go in areas that are presently bare. Both buildings will be upgraded to have the same general style.
Our staff is making headway with the women’s restroom and the project is progressing.
The Board has several issues with the job that occurred during the pool resurfacing project.
There was over-spray on the pool fence, tiles and the pool deck. We are holding the approximately $16,000 that we owe the vendor until these issues are resolved.
The Board discussed changing the elevator codes in light of the recent burglaries in the community. They will be changed shortly once Karen has worked out the logistics with the elevator company. Karen will contact our owners via e-mail with more information.
This discussion did not take place because the Association’s attorney became ill and could not attend.
There being no further business to discuss, the meeting adjourned at 11:10pm.
